About Steven
Mabuhay, and hello all, my name is Steven Perron, I am the owner of this blog and several others, as well as a few on line e-commerce stores. I would like to take a few min to let all of you know a little about myself, I am an American that is married to a wonderful little Filipina; she is dedicated to keeping me honest (most of the time).
My wife and I both live and work in Kuwait, and we travel to the Philippines several time a year on Business / Vacations, we do have plans for retiring in the Philippines at the end of 2008, so we have purchased several properties in preparation for this, my wife is from the Manila area, and I am from the great state of Texas originally, but now I guess you could say I am from Antipolo City, because that is where we plan on settling down.
I have been working overseas for 18 years, so I am well traveled, and have extensive experience in visiting different countries, dealing with the cultural differences, and immigration laws.
I have set up this Manila news web-blog primarily to furnish the most up to date news available from the Philippines, but I believe that I have the ability to talk about the Philippines with some confidence, and experience based on my seven years of travel into, and around the Philippine Islands. I am hoping that all of you will drop by and visit often, and the information written / posted here will be of some interest to the readers.
